Meet the Dentist Dr. Richard S. McDonald was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. He graduated with honors from Simpson College and received his Doctoral Degree of Dental Surgery from the Unversity of Iowa in 1979. After completion of dental school, Dr. McDonald joined the United States Air Forces and was stationed at Carswell Air Forces Base here in Fort Worth from 1979 to 1981. He is a member of good standing in the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Fort Worth District Dental Society, American Acadamy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Orthodontic Society. Dr. McDonald is very involved in all the latest techniques, including bonding, cosmetic dentistry, and implants. He has taken a special interest in Orthodontics. After many years of continuing his education, he added this specialty to his practice. Dr. McDonald feels strongly that all of his patients deserve the very highest quality of dental care, and he strives to bring you this quality through staying current with technological improvements and continuing his education.
